About Hera

We started building Hera years ago, when we saw how ubiquitous the problem of trust is in data-driven systems.

The technology is already commercially proven. It powers the trust and verification systems within Sterndesk and Crewlinker, where it processes thousands of documents and credentials daily for maritime companies worldwide.

Now we're applying that proven technology to a bigger challenge: making conversational AI safe for democracy. Hera is built on our Accountable AI framework, connecting citizens to verified institutions and accountable sources. Every answer traces back to real people and places. Trust flows through relationships you can inspect. No ads, no paywalls, no engagement tricks. European infrastructure, governed by European law, serving the public good.

We're not building another search engine or chatbot. We're building the trust layer that makes information safe for 450 million Europeans.
